Pur Carignan sur granit, biodynamically grown, and made in the old fashioned mould, rather than the faux New World, soupy style the Languedoc has grown so fond of. The reason is simple, the riper Carignan gets the more it loses its definition, so you pick early to give a more pure expression of fruit and retain acidity. This is tight as a drum, with sweet, dark berry fruit and hints of herbs, smoke and tar. Scrumdidlyumptious!
